Seen some pictures of monsters with chrome wheels, anyone know what the costs are like and other than the cleaning does any one know the pros and cons??

Usually they are polished not chromed. Highly polished aluminium. JMO's for starters. You need a little man with a shed and a polisher.

As John McInroe would say, "You cannot be serious!"

These people will powder coat your wheels so they look chromed

The beauty is a quick wash and they're shiny again, no constant polishing.

I've seen a few with chrome spoked rims - the sport classic ones can fit

Steel rims are heavy though compared to aluminium

I reckon alloy rims and spokes will be fairly similar weight to bulky cast ally wheels, certainly stronger.

As Albie says JMo's wheels polished up nice

Hope that restraining order they have for me runs out before Milan this year?

Cheers

I love the idea of powder coating them rather than the shed and polish option hmmm, thanks all!
