7 years on and after several winter commutes my '04 620ie has been sitting idle for a year too long and is in need of some serious tlc and tinkering…

…but i'm torn : clean it up and sell or bling it and keep it (or still sell it)

Any suggestions (post me looking through the gallery) on where to get some more inspiration for giving it thorough upgrade and tasty morsels of kit to attach to it?

it's standard at the mo, needs some obvious work: a powder coat for the engine casing at least! (anyone done this?)

cheers all

Search mode will reveal numerous rebuild threads - both current and archived

I'm sure DIY fanatics on here will chip in before long. Just a few threads picked at random..

Depends how much you want the bike or want to spend on it. You always lose money or time.

To really make it your own you should modify and bling it up it, but be warned it will be a lot cheaper to sell and buy another one.

A good example of just how far you can go with a 620ie

Jmo's monster has been a work in progress for best part of 10 rears
