Is it possible to convert my low level Termi's on my S4 to high level, and if so how do I go about doing it?

I had a look into it last year and couldn't find anywhere that sold a link pipe to do the job but you should be able to get a custom one made up. Never got round to doing it in the end, someone else might know of a good place in the area to do it...

You might end up wanting the cans cutting down slightly as well though, normal termis are quite long and with the monster having a short tail you get something of a wheelbarrow look :)

Sell the low levels - £150+

Buy some used high levels - £150-350

There are cans available that are as good if not better quality than Termi's for less £££

simples ;)

Not sure what the exhausts are like but would these fit?

No they won't fit. The low temi's have a fairly short, straight link pipe, and Sil moto high levels have half the link pipe welded to the can. I should know as I've currently got a set fitted on my 900ie. I've got a spare set of link pipes shown in your link, but they are only any good with a matching set of cans... they also fit the WRP's I have on the trike

There is a S4 on ebay (has been up a couple of times) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2001-DUCATI-Monster-S4-GREY-/130514403879?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item1e6343c227

its got low levels fitted but he has link pipes for high level to go with the bike, might be worth a email asking if he would be willing to sell separately, can only say no

Don't do it - she'll look like a wheelbarrow with the cut tail - they'll also melt the rear end of any passenger you may have behind you

Personal opinion of course but I think the monster looks best with low levels - more balanced and less top heavy looking and unless you're getting her banked over so much that the low levels touch I don't think there's any performance gain with the swap :spin:
