So its time to change the plates....
Ducati original are 170
Barnet are 165.

What's the best plan? The basket doesn't need changing... also is there another option on plates?

I've heard of some excessive wear problem with the Barnet plates

If this includes the steel plates its a bargain, Surflex is a good product

Some people are telling me that from 98 onwards is a different clutch. But that lists from 93 - 02....

the top ones seem to be for 97. Mines a 98. Is there different clutch plates? Ducati only list a kit.

No sure I'm not as familiar with wet clutch monsters, as I only owned a 1995 spec M600 for 2 years and had little fettling to do engine wise.

My educated guess would be the later set for your engine - but you really need part numbers to be sure

Panic not.. I'm sure a wet clutch guru will be along shortly ;)

I just got a full set of plates from Daytona in london for £150 posted. Don't know if this is any use to you?
That was for an S4, but they were the cheapest I found
