Hi all
Quick query
I'm at the track and need to know if the Showa forks on my bike have adjusters under the front axel as well as preload and rebound on the top.

Thanks in advance
Ali

yes they do

you may need to rotate the front axel so that the holes in it line up and you can get a screwdriver through them to adjust the damping

Needs to be a thin(ish) electrical flat blade to get in as well

5-6mm wide max

unfort my axle dosent have holes as the s2r800 didnt come with adjustble forks

so i will have to take the fornt wheel off to chnage the settings :-(

Or buy a spare hollow spindle with holes in it

Although maybe not one as crappy as this is... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ducati-Monster-M600-Dark-Front-Wheel-Spindle-/230596393965?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item35b09dbbed

they have full compression and rebound but its not very good as standard valving is awful get them revalved and possible spring weighted and they will be good.

Same as the forks in the 2002 Ducati ST4s ? If they are then the internals are very poor, cheap and nasty. Guy that did my forks was shocked, nothing like the internals in a 996/998I asked him why they would fit such poor components and he couldn't understand it as the cost difference is marginal.

Definitely get them sorted out as it makes a world of difference. I used Reactive suspension in York. Excellent.
