If you go through the 'Campbell Entrance' there is parking for ducatis on site, you can arrive any time after 0830, but the earlier the better to get to the parking area, its costing £14 per person entrance fee, and its one of there biggest events of the year so well worth a trip.

Had a great day at Brooklands looking at all the fantastic Italian cars, all sorts of cars from Fiat pandas to every italian super car you could think of.
Bought Heather a Abarth keyring and booked a test drive in a 500 Abarth so maybe next year we could take Italian cars.
Very disappointed by the very low turn out of bikes, a tiny amount maybe only 20 bikes amongst hundreds of cars.
Watched some cars going up the test hill again allsorts from Lambo's to a Fiat multipla :chuckle:
Maybe next year the club could sort some sort of stand and a run to this event, its seems strange a club of the UKMOC's size does not have any stands or promo at this sort of event.(apart from a few members attending and carding people)

Surely a job for the Surrey rep to organise of which many others would then support. Is it still Didge?

Maybe something to look into for next year.
I am not sure what the deal is with that sort of event and if you have to pay to have a club stand.
I am sure if we had a stand people would support it.

A grand day out, but at £14 each (a price hiked from normal £10 by the Auto Italia Club) makes it a bit steep. I'll go again but on a normal day and see the bits I didn't get around to, there is still loads to see!

I have been 4 times now and always new things to see or people to talk to.
Took my parents last month on a weekday and as it was not busy we had loads of staff wanting to talk about the exhibits I got to sit in a f1 car and also climb into a harrier jump jet and go through all the controls with help from one of the staff. AWSOME

Well I enjoyed the day for sure and so did Caroline. I have to admit I would have taken bike and my beloved Alfa Romeo given the chance but she wanted to pillion with me. Our bikes got a load of attention though as there was sadly a poor turnout compared to last years Mini meet when we turned out. Well done to those that did and we stayed until late as plenty going on and to see.

I enjoyed last year and planned on going again this year, but unforeseen circumstances put a stop to it. Sorry not to have been able to support it.

I imagine that'll be Albie's. In case you hadn't noticed he's rather fond of carbon ...

Just received my copy of the Brooklands Bulletin today and spotted these little beasties.

Good to see they caught my bikes best side, hidden behind all the others! :D
