View Full Version : Mirrors off, so holes to plug.......

I've taken the standard mirrors off the 900 and bunged on some nice bar ends which do a much better job - of course I'm now left with the holes for the orig mirrors on the castings which clamp the levers / reservoirs to the bars.

I know there are various bungs / plugs which can fill the holes but are there any compatable castings which will do the trick but don't have the mirror mounts? (Perhaps off a 900ss or similar)

And if so, does anyone have a couple knocking around in their "that'll be useful someday" box?

Cheers

Hi Gordon,

I fitted bar ends to my S2R and turned my clamps round the other way. Can you do the same to yours ????

Hi Gordon, the clamps of a 600ss should fit and dont have mirror threads, cost me about £7 each last year

If you feel daring (and of course got the cash), go for updated reservoirs for the clutch and brake, and ditch the coffin style ones.

I've changed the clutch one on my M900 after the seals failed in the coffin style reservoir, I just need to get rid of the brake fluid one now.
