pressure plate

Removed my old pressure plate today, but couldn't remove the rod? Do I just drift this out from the front side of the plate? Don't want to damage the bearing or bend the rod!!

Should just drift out - it's a tight(ish) fit on inner race of bearing

yep I just drifted it out on a black and wrecker workmate, make sure but put something soft underneath so that it doesnt get dmaged when it hits the floor

use a bit of oil on the threads, but dont use threadlock on the plate screws and remember not to over tighten (5NM if memory servers me correcty)
