broke an oil/sweeper ring

hi all,
while putting the piston ring compressor on to the piston, i cracked the oil ring, a new set if rings is £140 of ducati, does anybody know where i could get a single ring or does any other ring fit ? 1994 900cc monster.

Give your local engineering company a call..if they are any good they could probably get you one?

If used is OK, I have a pair of '95 M900 pistons complete with rings that I won't be using as I've bored the cylinders to 955cc.

thanks for the replies, i went to the local engine/ tractor man, would you believe the oil ring pack out of a massey ferguson 135 fits.. result. 20 euro for the whole kits, ive the engine built up and its running sweet as a nut and no smoke.

:D Well I've often heard people describe Ducati engines as 'agricultural' but that proves it.... :chuckle:
