Carbon Termi repair

Not really a repair, but on one of the cans there is a very small spot where the fibre is starting to poke through. I did a web search and came up with the fix of, going over the area with wet and dry then spraying with laquer. is this correct and if so can i use any clear laquer. Or does it have to be a specific type?

Not sure if that's correct although you can new sleeves for about £35 can not remember the name right night can can post up later if you want or I am sure someone will be along shortly that will know a company that can supply them

Don't really want to go down that route. mainly because no one else would notice this spot but me. I'm guessing as the cans stay cool, you wouldn't even need heat proof laquer?

Yes. You can get it from plasticote. I think b and q do it.... high temp laquer that is....
