Ok folks, time for another run through London, i'm suggesting sat 30th of April early evening meeting point tba by pm so we keep this otqt!
I know this is the day after the royal wedding, but this is a deliberate choice as I feel London will be quiet on the roads.

Yep MCE Claims assist are on the case and it was the Saxo's fault...the classic sorry mate i did't see you accident....he was turning right on a green filter light and i was in a straight line going through through my green light.

So it's getting closer, I have my 600 with loud pipes needing, clutch, rear tyre and rear brakes are staying on, not that they are used often, and the S2R stock standard pipes, open clutch ready to ride, just returned from holidays working everyday till Saturday so meeting at 4pm might be tough, so might have to catch up somewhere, would I have to ride at the back if I am riding the S2R?? Maybe i can get some carbon covers and with everyone else no one will notice??? or just take them off and use straight pipes, that would work:thumbsup:

I am still on however might not turn up. Went yesterday for a ride and to pickup new forks. On the way there my clutch was fine doing first 15 miles of London on/off traffic. On A3 I opened the tap suddenly 100% to find clutch slipping at 5k and engine getting to rev limiter. Makes no sense as on 1st gear it's all fine, I can pull off normally but it lets go suddenly from time to time.

Bugger:Furious: after spending a good three hours last night changing clutch lever, new (second hand) hi level exhaust (now it looks like a wheelbarrow), playing around with the rear brakes as they kept locking on, giving it a once over as i have not riden the bike since last year even a rough clean although you will not notice, so appologies for my dirtyy bike, I rode into work this morning only for the brakes still to be locking up, even if I don't use them???? unless I rest my foot on the brake pedal without noticing. Last night i could press the brake a 100 times and no problems on the paddock stand, even sat on the bike with foot pressure and still ok, now it seam only when i ride they get hot?? expand??? and lock on.

At work now trying to sneak away to see if i can do anything??

Bugger:Furious: after spending a good three hours last night changing clutch lever, new (second hand) hi level exhaust (now it looks like a wheelbarrow), playing around with the rear brakes as they kept locking on, giving it a once over as i have not riden the bike since last year even a rough clean although you will not notice, so appologies for my dirtyy bike, I rode into work this morning only for the brakes still to be locking up, even if I don't use them???? unless I rest my foot on the brake pedal without noticing. Last night i could press the brake a 100 times and no problems on the paddock stand, even sat on the bike with foot pressure and still ok, now it seam only when i ride they get hot?? expand??? and lock on.

At work now trying to sneak away to see if i can do anything??

Your leg possible, lever not returning as it is obstructed, brake lines running next to exhaust or as you said it is dragging and getting hot. Adjust it so it needs more pressure before it works and maybe that will help or do what I did, disconnect for day to day, reconnect for MOT.

Good day out, got a pain in my head by about 3rd tunnel and it only just went away.
Thx for organising it.
My clutch came back on the way home but I still spent transplanting one from 900ss in garage .... 3h it took me due to sized stud bolt on clutch hub. FFS.

Some photos from me but video will take some time, youtube only accepts 15 min jobbies. Sound on camera is not even close to what it was like.

That was a superb afternoon out, met some really nice people, shame I'm rubbish with names and can't remember exactly who. The Blackwall tunnel will only sound that good again if you took the wings of a Lancaster bomber and pushed it through.

You really appreciate how much effort people put into their bikes when you turn up and have a proper look eg Kato's effort.

WOW! that was officially the coolest thing I have ever done on my bike! Seeing and hearing so many beautiful monsters really made me appreciate why I own such a magnificent machine!! Thanks guys and I cant wait for the next one!!

Just got home after taking Sven Stefanie and Jan down to the Ace for the Italian day, we got back to mine at about 9.30 last night and sampled some British beer, hence the late post!

My ears are still ringing from the run, I think it was the Blackwall which finished them off!!
Great turn out guys, good to meet new and known faces,I think approx 25 of us turned up, 35 next time?

Sadly my video was a massive FAIL, l/h camera crashed with no footage, r/h camera got the lot including 90 minutes of distortion from the ignition (LB did warn me that would happen before we set off)
