I've not had as much time to get out as i'd like, but now 400 miles in and loving every minute of my new toy, just looking at it makes me grin like a child at Christmas:biggrin:!

Some bits arrived in the post this morning too....and so it begins...:)

Very impressed with this beautifully machined and finished bit-o-bling...made in the UK too, called and ordered Yesterday afternoon and was in my sweaty palms 9.00am this morning.

If you want one, give Mark Youngman @ Consort Precision a buzz or drop him an email - 01502 712337/consortprecision@btinternet.com...great chap, very helpful and has just completed a new batch ready to go.

I am desperate to get some Termi's or equivalent but my other little monster insists on being fed and clothed....she is starting to appreciate the Duc' though and found the rattling, spinning red thing on Daddy's bike quite amusing:

They've still got the trademark Termi' wonk-on but a bit more fettling should see them right, if I can keep off it for long enough - feck me it's loud:eek::mand:

Looking good. Did you get the ECU and air filter that go with the Termis?

Yes the full kit - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110691374349&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:GB:1123:D

The throttle response is is now pin sharp and the lurching at lower revs has all but gone, although I have dropped a cog size on the front which has also helped I guess.

Despite varying stories of having to have the ECU set-up by a dealer etc. I decided to just plug and play and see how it went and put it back to standard if it ran like poop. It was a bit lumpy on tickover but has now settled down. I read somewhere that the TPS is reset after powering the ECU on/off 3 times in succession. I did this and it certainly seemed to smooth everything out in idle but who knows:confused:

I did have a heart in mouth moment yesterday though, my Dad came round to have a listen but I couldn't get it to fire up - visions of void warrantys and dodgy ECU's filled my head. 15 mins passed only to realise the neutral light wasn't on - it was in gear with the sidestand down:idea::fou::chuckle:

Glad you got the weapons of your choice.I doubt whether you will get rid of trademark 'WONKY ' as I reckon they weld it in for the customers GRATIS. I think your right about ECU fittting. I just popped down my local Ducati independant to fit mine as was unsure about all the access to it.( Wish I hadn't as broke collar bone on the way :twak::thumbsdown:) Glad you now getting some miles on it. Trackday it with us lot in July 1st at Mallory.

I think you're right about the 'WONKY', the L/H pipe would need chopping down and a new bracket made to get it perfect - which in reality isn't going to happen! I'll put it down to 'character':mand:

I would love to come to Mallory and still have it in mind to come. I have found someone to match up the zips on my mismatched two piece leathers. I now just need to confirm time off work which to be honest isn't looking likely as it stands:cens::mad: I shall chase it up this week and give a definative answer before the week is out......

No need to apologise for the lack of carbon, using the baffles though - that needs explaining:chuckle:

I have no reason really. I guess I'm getting old. Its not like I go out at silly O'clock hours either. My neighbours are ok but I dont feel like making noise lately unless on UKMOC run .
Maybe I shall take them out today.

Surely if you're getting old they should seem quieter without needing the baffles? :p

Another quick and cheap mod' ive been intending to do accomplished:

Seeing as the 'new' monster headlight is such a source of controversy with the die hards and I rarely ride in the dark - I took it off and threw it in the bin....

Not really:mand:, I disassembled it and painted the frame to make it a bit more appealing - well to me anyway...

I keep meaning to do mine and the top yoke too. Yesterday I put streetfighter bars on. About 1 1/2" narrower and a little shallower. They have to be blacked as well

Other than the streetfighter has a different switch set up / throttle position they fitted and feel ok Geoff. A lot narrower and more meaty looking as they have less narrow tube.

^^Yeah that^^

I picked mine up from Ducati Wolves as I drive past every couple of weeks, most of the time I have to sum up some will-power and just drive on by. They have alot of nice things in locked glass cabinets;):D

I think they were about 30 quid, the part number should you need it:

966318AAA - red
966319AAA - gold
966320AAA - black
