In short ..... it's daunting!
Luckily for me my pride and joy came already fitted with an optimate extension from the battery (thankyou previous owner) .... but now I'm needing to fit an alarm and will today be taking on the the rather complicated open heart surgery to get to the battery. (Gulp)
I know the arguements for and against an alarm but not wanting this thread to fall foul of that it's a no brainer as I live in an appartment and kids have been nosing around and for extra security additional to ground anchor I'm fitting it .....
So anybody removed their tank to do this and are there any pitfalls?
I have a moderate skill level and the aid of the internet to refer to along with the manual ...
It's a sunny day today in Bolton and I'm off work .... so might be walking tomorrow ... :banghead:
I'll get some pics and try posting them up if I don't chicken out ....
