Getting stiff - has anyone lubricated them, and if so what with ? or should i just replace them.

I just had mine replaced, only cost £10 at the Ducati dealer although that was done at the same time as a couple of bigger jobs...I keep the ends greased but don't tend to do the full cable, someone else can probably help with that though

If you're having trouble with the throttle sticking or not returning fully it's a good idea to take the throttle cam off and check the spring, mine's been sticking badly recently but just spraying some WD40 in there and giving it a few twists before every ride has fixed the problem until the next one. I suspect the spring may have corrroded and been weakened slightly with me riding over winter, they're quite exposed on a Monster. Going to find a new one eventually! :)

I have had this on a few ducatis, I wont bother lubricating them again, just change them. No point in oiling something that is worn out.
