Hi
I'm looking to purchase a motorbike for around £1000 mark.
Not to bothered make, however a Ducati would be nice.
I need to keep my no claims discount valid hence needing a bike asap.
If you have a decent bike for sale please call 07759082760.

That's not too bad a price really.
Mines dribbled up to 30K still running well ;)

Thanks for your offer, but I only have a budget of around £1000 to spend.
I need one only to use 5 times a year and to keep my insurance going.
Thanks again

Not mine though I aint picked it up yet.

You should have bought my gorgeous 748 2 years ago. You know you wanted to. I would want more than a £1000 for my Supersport.

Look out for a Ducati 600/750 supersport. Cheap for bits and some decent ones around that mark.

A couple worth a look even the scarey gold engine one

These days you can get quite a bit of bike for £1000..
What on earth entered someones mind to paint that engine gold ... even this mental case doesn't like that!

A scooter / twist and go is a option I have thought about tokeep the NCB ticking over.
I would sooner have a bike to ride, however i'm open to all options at present.

Cheers:thumbsup:

It's a 650cc, quite a fun little machine (for an IL4;)), bought it to have as my first big bike after doing my DAS, as my Dad had one when I was a teenager which I used to take out when they went away on holiday :spin:
I was lucky enough to go out and buy the bike I really wanted the day after passing my test - the Buell I have just chopped in for the M1100s. So I haven't used it much, just enough to keep things turning. You don't see them up for sale very often - not unmolested anyway.

Get yourself a cheap, road legal off-roader, maybe......?
A bit of weekend mud-plugging works wonders for developing your overall machine control.

The Katana looks brilliant, bulletproof engine.
If i was looking for a second bike, that would be the one, sensibly priced for it's age and condition.
