We've seen the new Stig. He's still white. If its anything like Top Gear Live they'll do a short film about where they farm Stigs.

Most likely the Atom will win BUT May is driving so you never know :chuckle:

Agreed. Pretty much any car on the market will be quicker than a bike round a corner. More black stuff in contact with the, err... black stuff.

Not any car on the market!

That was a close race anyway

They look better with their hair cut though Hammond is still wearing those very tragic beads around his neck.

:) I like long hair on men .... I dread the day when it comes to the point when all the men in my age to date have no long hair .. its not their fault god love men .. but its just been a thing of mine since a teen and seeing Iron Maiden ... and twiddling.

failing that a tuggy beard will do ...

Yup those beads are odd... maybe I should send him soe dayglow popper beads!
Anyway its good to have a decent bit of telly!

Now bring back Manlab!!!

Funny that May and Clarkson complained about understeer on the Atom, then Stig MkIII (Sabine?) shows that a little more boot gets the ass round and it goes like poo of a shovel.
Perhaps the New Stig could give them some tips!

Great driving of a fantastic car... That bike was shifting to, I do like the new BM but its way more bike than I could handle:spin:

Sabine ??? she is an amazing driver... but no not the stig ???
Here we go again .. who is new stig!?

Blah blah

I'm surprised the BMWs gearbox survived a lap of the track...:D

I think the Stig is Tiff

He11cat
24-01-2011, 09:14 PM
No......... its not Nigel Mansell either :) ... I suspect it is now a few different people to prevent another Ben Collins disaster.
I thought they may change the look a bit but think there is so much merchandise tied up in it now they dare not.

Original Stig was the Black Stig (perry) and lets be honest I don't recall much merchandise for him if any !!

Anyway I am just going to kick back and enjoy it :)
I really really hope they do another Man Lab as though as well... ( I really should have been a bloke!) ok ok I watch cake programs as well but just the one!!! Only cause he cooks with power tools..

Yeah me too...

I though it odd in the first show when they said they wheeled tiff out of the old folks home to show the celeb the track. How long's he been off fifth gear? Now they said 'it has to be a top gear presenter' and so it's Tiff. Now either they are trying to make people wonder if he's the new stig, they'll use him again in the future or they are referring to his past and the fact he was a top gear presenter of old?
So long as Tiff don't start presenting and, pausing in the, strangest of, places...

Mr Cake

The Stig is still Ben Collins.

I was disappointed that they didn't get steve brogans thoughts after the race though, they just seemed to forget that he had been involved at all....

Person was very small........can't see any long blonde hair in the playback so dont think it is Sabine.....I personally think it's Anthony Davidson!! Nobody wants him in F1 anymore as a race driver....maybe as a test driver, but as we know, the test drivers get very little car time these days and he has plenty of time on his hands to do 'The Stig' role.

Mark

Although I think the Atom would have won anyway, I think the race was a little staged. Steve was clutching up big mingers out of most of the bends. Was still ace though!

How about John Bishops 1.42 lap in the reasonably priced car?

That'll take some beating

Obviously the new Stig (Tiff?) is a better instructor than the old one.
