I'm going back to CSS to do level 3, again, seeing as the last time I did it I crashed in the wet on lap 1 and fractured two ribs, but rode the rest of the day anyway. I'm hard !!

I'm taking a client of mine who's going to be doing level 1 but if anyone else is thinking of doing it, I'll see you there.

I hear someone else is doing this .. Watch out for a stig lookalike all dressed in silver gear. He wiggles as he walks.. I think this is to confuse the other riders !!
He does it at traffic lights as well!
Watch out for him anyhow I hear he is going there soon won't be hard to spot!

definitely looking to do more trackdays this year! Not sure when, or if CSS is on the cards.

It was planning on CSS level 1 this year, but this week I've booked 2 stag dos, IOM TT, with at least 1 more stag do and a summer holiday with the missus to be booked. :spin:

Might look into it now...

CSS is NOT a trackday, it's track training, very different.

Now trackdays, yes you can worry about mishaps but if you're in a novice group it'll be the same as riding on the road but safer. Every trackday I've been to in the last 4 years I've seen very nervous participants on the first last turn into confident riders by lunchtime.

Had a look and its a bit out of my budget. So i will just have to do a couple of trackdays and try to get some advice from instructors on the day.
Hope to book a trackday or two with no limits as they are very helpfull people and dont charge to go round with you for a session and give advice.

And I'd better remind myself what I did on Level III last time, after I crashed, so that I can do it all again on Thursday. :)

good to hear! If that avatar is from yesterday, it looks like your skills are coming along nicely! Not much daylight underneath though!

Yep that was Yesterday. Tough day though for those in Level 3, as I was. Lots about positioning on the bike, locking the legs into the tanks and smooth movement while transitioning from one side of the bike to the other. Not easy and it takes a lot of physical effort for a lump like me.

My client I took to do Level 1 couldn't stop beaming all day though. Happy, happy boy.

Oh, and Quote of the day goes to LousCanon...

"I nearly got a hard-on that last lap it was so good".

Was a long old ride home though, but stayed dry so couldn't ask for more!

Great day, lining up dates for level 2 already, highly recommend it!!

Just worked out my Miles per Gallon.
Seeing at I had to fill up at the track yesterday for £1.50 a litre.
Before I filled up I managed 82 miles on about 12 litres of fuel = 27.3 mpg.

Don't think so Cakie, the nice thing about a picture is that it's a snapshot in time, a video on the other had would show me flapping all over the place trying to get myself in position, lock myself into the bike and get it round the corner. :)

Very honest mate, I like it. Hell of a photo though. You've got to have at least one session "for the lense"! It's the rules!
