Bickering, bickering.

I've come up with several answers to this problem.

We could take part of Hampshires name and 2nd part of Wiltshires name to show the joining of two great counties, so as hampsters were first to get going we'll take the 'Hamp' bit from us and the 'shire' bit from the good people of Wiltshire.

We could just call ourselves 'The South'

But when it bolis down to it the further west you seem to move the less reluctant for the inhabitants to leave their area, 'hail mighty swindonia'.

Besides you were all happy to come to the Hampshire Christmas do, no bickering about who you were then?

I say all this with tongue firmly in cheek, find a decent cafe anywhere and I'll try and get there.

Cheers
Stuart

that might need further explaining, especially for the people from Wilt-shire

Have a nice day :mand:

Ahh, yes well, you see that does take me back, to a land before plumbing and the world throbbed to the sound of air cooled.........Am not adversed to these new fangled things. I mean you don't need to carry a Thermos around anymore.

Ah but self defeating old chap - y'see apart from our esteemed area rep, no other kettles were on parade on Sunday....... so Thermos (with cork stopper, natch) was still required.......

Rough shag refill? what, what.........

As the counties both end in 'Shire', we should take two of the first four letters from each and keep the Shire. Why not take the 'Wi' from Wiltshire and the 'mp' from Hampshire.

Yes you have worked it out; Wimpshire. Let's face it, we all come by car in the winter. Lol ;) :D:D:D

There's only one question, who wants to be the rep for Wimpshire? Answers below please.....................
