Nice, I'm in the process of replacing my oval termis with some round ones.
Is that the standard header pipe? I've got a nice polished one I'll swap you. It will match the pipe.

Better late than never - mirrors are Rizoma by the way Slob.

Big thanks to Richard at Maxtons for fitting & setting up my shock (and for the fun we had getting on and off the trailer) - its been lowered by 1" and has a remote - carbon side panel needs a bit of shaping to fix round so tempoary fix at present..

Have you shortened the cans, too ?

Have you shortened the cans, too ?

Tapered cans are almost impossible to shorten as the diameter changes and the caps wont fit.

The Zard's end cans are very short as standard

Yes, and for that reason I thought it was unlikely, but couldn't quite decide from the pics whether just an inch or so had been lost.
In the end I just had to ask.
Should've gone to specsavers !!

Looks VERY nice.

Waiting to get it back and see what it rides like before I change anything else

Very nice, almost the same system that I've had for a few years. You're number plate will get very sooty.
And you've got the baffles in right ? Zard weld them in and it's a right bugger to get them out.
And if you do, they are sooooooo loud.

Char
02-03-2011, 07:50 AM
Zards have been on a while - no sooty problems - no tail chop - sorry cant hear you - did you say baffles????:o

Riders did a nice job of getting it running well with the original filter etc
