...and that it's not the far north of Scotland.

Serious weather time, sleet yesterday and hard frost last night. If the salt ain't all over the roads yet, it soon will be.

guess that's the bikes away for the year now.

time to start stripping and cleaning. And when I'm done I'll do the bikes.

get out while you can.

That's my fave type of weather - more snow the better!!

Frost here, and I watched a gritter spreading on the country roads from my window last night.

Yeah gotta admit, this year I won't be running my bike over winter, saw the damage the salt did last year even with ACF50 protection and regular hose downs... hate the stuff.

Time to find a winter hack me thinks, some Supermoto loonery would be fun.

Yeah, it's not worth the agro, ran one duke over a winter years ago, it never showed any signs of damage but it was no fun having the back end slip round corners (unintentionally).

I shoulda kept the moped, it was fine for all weathers

just taken the dog for a hike around the countryside, no need for a torch the moon is so bright. It's fantastic! The fields are freezing over already. Think the Monster is about to be tucked up for the winter! My other bike has heated grips so that will come out instead. Not seen a gritter yet!
