If you are coming from the south coast use A21 to Hurst Green
then turn off to Hawkhurst follow through the village straight over lights and on to Cranbrook.Top side of Cranbrook you will come to a large roundabout where you will pick up the yellow Grass track signs.

If coming in from North,North/East & East, M25,M20 to Maidstone Pick up A229 south of Maidstone then at the Wheatsheaf Junction (first yellow Grass track sign) stay left and come in on A274 Headcorn Road and head for Headcorn, (via Sutton Vallence), this is exactly 8 miles frm Wheatsheaf Junction to Moat road in Headcorn and avoids lots of lanes, ( just after entering the Headcorn village sign about 500 yrds and before the White Horse pub on your right ,turn right into Moat road), follow yellow grass track signs to track about 1/2 mile from the pub.

If coming from West using M25 come off for junction to Maidstone
M20 then pick up A274 from Wheatsheaf Junction.

Sorry won't be able to make it, I'm going 'Up west' for a lunch instead.

Though does anyone fancy a cuppa tomorrow afternoon ? I've go to go to Vauxhall at lunchtime to pick something up on the Multi and light swing out into the countryside later on if someone's got a kettle on.

I don't think I'll be out for a ride, but you're most welcome to swing by for tea, scones and a hacking cough (all provided free) in the Shire of Dartford.

Did you see some dust !!!

Great day out, loved the 1000cc right hand sidecars  Company was great as ever with plenty of banter, even from grumpy Gary :grump:

Pumkin soup, hot dogs, banana cake, rice crispie cakes, what a great lunch.

No you would have enjoyed it too. TBH I was doubtful it would be happening and was thinking about a pub lunch. Some good photo oppertunitys if you had a fast camera. Gary got some with mud flinging everywhere.

A brilliant day yesterday and quite the most impressive lunch I've ever had at a bike event! Great company as ever with some splendid banter. Next time I'll to turn up without chronic consumption, apologies if my coughing disturbed the racing, I'll try to do it more quietly in future. Anyway, we proved popular spectators, as we're all luminaries in the grasstrack scene now (see link below, third row from the bottom). It's amazing what bribing someone with a sausage will do...

Thanks to all for pitching in at the meet and making it such an enjoyable day. Thankfully the weather wasn't as pants as forecast, and in the end we had a nice dry afternoon. Still a bit chilly though so glad I wore some thermals and my UKMOC beenie.

Alan outdid himself with the shouted 'special needs' firework commentary.. FIREWORKS!.. Red.. Blue.. BANG!.. Silver.. Red.. FIREWORKS!.. Green.. Blue.. Orange.. BANG! etc. etc.

muppet

Here's looking forward to the next Kent UKMOC motorsport experience day
