Due to the dire weather and the fact I couldn't face wearing a huge textile thing I have I decided time to re nikwax my jacket.
All done without to much drama .
I decided to sponge it on with a new kitchen spongie thing as I had a fair few new uns...
I then walked into the kitchen and chucked it on the side and thought Il leave it to dry and use it again on my boots later.
Later on I thought oh better do washing up..
grabbed the sponge and started to wash up and er got nowhere....
The moral of this story is don't try and nikwax your washing up.......
My plates are now waterproofed nicely :grump:
