I've got a pair of Rennesports on the 900 - the rear is almost worn out but the front still has plenty of life.

Any suggestions for a replacement for the rear which would compliment the front - could do with something with a bit more tread as 1/ I don't go anywhere near a track 2/ winter is a coming 3/ will last a bit more than 3000 miles.

Sizes are 180/55 on the back and 120/70 front.

Cheers

The Michelin Pilot Road 2CT tyre wears extremely well. Alan C says he's done 15,000 on his and they looked ok'ish.

For sticky rubber the Pilot Power 2CT is my chice for road and track.

Just a suggestion, buy 2 rear tyres to 1 front, works for me!

Bridgestone BT-21's, totaly transformed the M900.
It already had a pair of 21's on when i bought the bike, although they were never overly inspiring, cornering wise (plus they were two year old!).
Within a hundred or so miles, the new tyres certainly gave me confidence to get me knee down on a few occasions, makes all the difference.

My Griso came with Rennsports, whichI replaced with Maxxis supersports, I found them to be a better all round tyre. They last longer, handle better, and give better feed back, plus they are less expensive.
