Pretty much as new, one has a little scratch on mirror, £100.
£70 each new. Very sexy.
Selling as the mirror fitting seems to have changed for 796 (new shape monsters?), annoying, anyway...

Thats a pain Bex as they look dead nice. Cant say I notice what sort of mount we have. Look nice and even I would have bought them if they fitted.

Hold fire bex on the rizoma site they have adaptors for new monsters. Maybe worth a email to them direct.

Hmm, I did have a look on their site before I posted, but was put off because the brackets look exactly the same as the ones I have. I guess they are, but just with the proper size connection. (The 796 uses a smaller bolt - I tried using it anyway just tightened up a lot but wouldn't fit, suppose theres probably a way to space it out if I can't get the correct bracket.

Hmmm, will drop an email just in case, thanks Albie.

Bex,
If it is just the bolt that goes into the bars that is different, you could get a couple of new ones made for very little cost in stainless steel.

I've got alternative bolts that fit, but the adaptor piece takes a larger bolt - so using the correct size bolt means the mirrors fit too loose - need correct sized adaptor pieces unless I can use a rubber infill washer or similar.

Have found the correct part now need to find someone stocking it.

If you sent a bolt with the correct thread size and an old original one that fits the mirror to an engineer, they would make them in minutes for you. if the thread on your mirror fittings is smaller, they could simply turn down the bigger thread and re cut it in the smaller size using the same parts. Simple really, it's just finding the man that can do it.

I presume I'm being thick but I don't get how getting the bolts changed helps? The fitting for newer monsters, as per albies link, is a narrower hole. So even if I have the correct bolt for my bike (which I do), I still have the wrong mirror fittings to match...no?!

I am assuming (sometimes dangerous to do so!) that the two bolts in your picture go through the hole in the black mirror arm directly into the threaded piece on your handlebars? Also assuming that you have a smaller thread in your handlebars than the bolts shown are?
If that is the case, you can get some made that fit the black mirror nicely in the tube part of it, but have the correct thread to screw into your handlebars.

Sorry Bex. I hope it all works out but you would be selling something and not benefitting yourself. Theres always a way to fit mirrors especially expensive ones. I could have had them myself but that would be immoral.

Bwa ha! Dangerous isn't it?

Having been searching also, I utterly convinced myself I need little red fluid tanks as well. EEEEEK.

Must save for exhausts first, must save for exhausts first, must save for exhausts first....

I have them in black. I got them for £60 new unused from Sazza for their Hypermotard.

I need the Rizoma mount brackets as standard ones I had to bend 1 of them 90' to make it usable but they tend to vibrate.

Look very nice though imho

I got rid of the tupper ware. The Rizoma hypermotard bracket is designed to bolt to the lever assembly but the RCS levers do not have provision for that. I got two right hand thread (8mm) brembo clamps, then drilled out the bracket to 8mm.
Cleaned this area up a lot.

THESE ARE MOST LIKELY FOR SALE AGAIN IF ANYONES INTERESTED.

Price probably negotiable, chuck me a PM.

Have fittings for both older and new shape (somewhere in the cave).
