Really bored today, so I thought I'd have a fiddle with the ride height adjustment on the basis that if it felt bloody lethal, I can always put it back to standard. I raised it exactly 1 inch. Wow, what a difference! The bike is now lighter on it's feet, turns in really well and drives out of corners MUCH better. None of that lethargic understeery feel at all. The chicken strips on my fairly new Pirelli Diablo Strada rear have gone! Try it.

Don't forget to adjust your headlight as well! A common thing to forget.

Lowering the front has the same effect without making it taller to get on. The benefit of raising the rear though is also more ground clearance, although they take some leaning before they deck out!

You will also need to check your rear shock static & rider sag and readjust accordingly.

How do adjust the rear tide height? Is it just a matter of winding up the pre-load?

There is an adjustable tie-rod just to the left of the shock.
