Every time I ride in heavy rain my bike starts to miss-fire and will often cut out when in idle. Has anyone else had a similar problem, someone did suggest it could be damaged spark plug leads that when they get wet spark against the engine. Has anyone had a similar problem, any suggestions appreciated?

I think i've heard of this before. Maybe something to with water getting in past the front cylinder spark plug. I think i've heard of people putting vaseline around the plug.

Just dredged from memory so i may of course be talking bo**ox.

I put a WD40 can cap over the front stick coil - held on with a tool hanger clip?, not had a sneeze since.
