Just fitted these to my M620 '03 and now find a problem with the clutch, feels like it slipping.
i'm certain the lever is still acting on the clutch even when the lever is released.
The new lever adjusting screw will not allow the plunger to retract back out of the master cylinder as far as the stock lever. the adjuster screw is much smaller on the new lever (probably about an M5 whereas stock lever is about an M12 and with a much deeper socket for the plunger to sit in).
i notice the adjuster on the stock lever has the screwhead which has been filled to prevent adjustment so i guess this is something to be left alone.

is there anyway i can adjust this? how do i find the point where the plunger should be and the clutch is biting properly

Sounds like the adjuster needs backing out a bit.
The stock lever is filled so that you don't use it to adjust travel, if it's too short yes the clutch will have a little pressure on it and can slip.

I had to adjust the plunger on mine (900ie) due to slippage
