I guess so :chuckle:

Actually some of the bikes had problems with their chains so it has been changed as part of a recall, under warranty.

Singletrack, what sort of mileage were you getting from this on a full tank ?

I honestly can't remember. It is a long time since I let the fuel light come on! I think it was 220-240 miles per tank, but it might have been more. definitely over 200, and over 50mpg.

Ok thankyou, can imagine they are a really good commuter which is what im looking for at the moment. The bmw f800r looks good and has a similar engine so wanted to know the tank range.

I have ridden both the 800R and the 650GS and think the 650 is a better bike. Much more comfortable and easier to ride about town - try them both. The 650GS would make a great commuter.
