In yet another display of exploratory bravery I've been poking around inside the clutch and noticed some mushrooming on the plates.

How much is acceptable?

If it's serious I've still got a couple of months warranty so the dealer can carry out any fixes required.

Cheers

When you say mushrooming, don't forget that there are two in there that are concave in shape. Maybe thats what you mean?

It is going to happen to all sooner or later, it doesnt afect the operation of the clutch unless the burrs get so large so as to prevent the plates from contacting each other. Dress them off with a file and enjoy the increased clatter.
