The Fenman Bike show is a great event which is held on the August Bank Holiday. Link below for photos of previous years. I was going to try and organise a ride out from Norwich via Watton to arrive nice and early so we can get parked. Further details to follow nearer the time.

Would be great if we'd Monsters arriving from further afield too.

Looks like a real nice event. I might just consider passing on the annual aug bank hol pilgrimage to cadwell...if I'm not at Appleby bluegrass festival. Yup, I might just do that.

It doesn't matter if you did turn up later in the day, just means parking on the road, but as there are bikes all over the village anyway it wouldn't be a problem.

+1 on the parking, this is a well attended event, thousands of bikes decend on this tiny one pub hamlet and everyone wants to park in the center 'cause thats were all the people are gathered. I found it incredible, bikes everywhere, filling EVERY available space.

15 minutes from the house, I will be there.

Yes as Capo said you really want to be there by 10am for getting parked.

Plan from Norwich is to meet at Thickthorn Services (on the A47, junction with A11) at 8.15 am and to head off at 8.30am. Should get there in approx an hour.

Be nice to meet some other Monster fans, but as always all bikes welcome.

He11cat, be nice to see you folks from Suffolk again.

I would have to leave at 6.30am at least.
Get up at about 5.30am at latest for that as its a good hour and a bit from here to Norwich. Then on to the bike show.
So for me way too early for a bike show I am sorry.
If it was not so early I would go.
It looks fab but I just am rubbish at early starts.
But 5am start is too early for me .. I go to bed about then .. plus the people in my road may lynch me.

If we do a lunch meet or something I would happily come along.
Me early am is not good.. id be little miss grumpy!!!

There are times when you have to operate outside your routine such as leaving the house at 4am to catch a plane.

This is one of those times.

No need to go to Norwich, its only about 25 miles further than the Thetford bike show site, nice road through the chase, you can make swift progress.

Think I'll have to miss early meet up but should be going with Lou on her flame monster and possibly one or two others. Will probably meet at Tescos Harford bridges if anyone wants to tag along at probably 10.30 ish. It won't be a fast run due to having a young lass on a 125 with us, although anyone wanting to hooley could go ahead and lets us snails pootle along at the back!

Providing good fortune smiles upon me ... and murphys law does not kick off I will be there .. it would be lovely to have a peek at your bike.
I will know 100% if I am going tomorrow.

I am making an effort.. getting up and even on coke the night before despite being invited to a razz up..
Thousands of bikes??? well I thats got to worth it.

I was (am) feeling a bit rough today, woke up with the shivers but was determined to go. Found a place to sit and hunker down. Sorry I missed seeing you. Now it's back to bed with a Beechams.
