foam airfilter

My '95 M900 (ebay purchase 4 years ago that worked out OK) came with straight-thru Viper race cans and a 'NoToil' foam airfilter - which has split and is unobtainable now.

Can anyone recommend a free-flowing foam airfilter? I'm considering the K & N mesh one to fit the airbox: has anyone tried these?

Pipercross, either get a filter or strip the paper element from an old standard filter and glue on a chunk of their filter material.
