View Full Version : fly screen advice
Do those fly screen fairings that wrap round youo headlight make any difference if your on a long trip on a motorway?
Yes - they make sure the flies hit you right in the visor :mand:
Seriously if they're angled right and suit your height and riding position then they can make a bit of a difference - it's never going to be the same as a on a Goldwing though.

I second LVC.
I've tried with and without [A headlight surround and screen].
With - you get the windblast in your face/visor.
Without - it hits you in your chest.
The bike should handle slightly better without as it's adding rotational mass to the forks, but I really took mine off because it didn't look quite so good with road rash and holes in the carbon fibre following its introduction to the road!
