Solo m/c parking?

Can I park the bike all day in a solo m/c spot without incurring the wrath of the yellow peril - even when there's a sign saying "max stay 3 hours"?

Am hoping bikes are exempt and this only applies to 4-wheelers.

Spoke to a warden. The answer is you need'nt move the bike if in a solo m/c spot, but need to move it if ina paid parking bay.
