the idle seems to have a mind of its own when shutting off throttle.. is fine sometimes but is more and more becoming erratical and holding at around 4K mark. Can it be down to the dynojet spring being too weak for the hi-comp that it can't force the needle back down?
The cable has no kinks and snaps back freely, and it has a decent "play" at close throttle before starting biting.And yes, I've set the idle from warm.
Following the dyno run I stuck some bigger main jets than the stage 2, (80 instead of 70), dropped the needle to 3rd slot and changed the needle jets as they were due, but the problem was there before this mods took place. Unfortunately I won't be able to dyno the bike again before WDW as the guys at Mistral are away for races, but that's another story..
