I live in Devizes and think we should meet at 12.30pm, for a 12.45pm leaving time. This will get us to Andover in plenty of time for 1.30pm. It only takes 25 mins really. PM me for the address if needed.

What a pain, scareycarey! Hope to see you at another monster meet sometime soon.

Weather forecast is looking good, the fridge is full of pork products, and my sister has given me a rather evil sounding white chocolate ice cream recipe which I'm going to have to try making.

If anyone else wants to come (You don't have to live in Hampshire - Kenties, Londoners etc. welcome), please pm me.

If anyone coming would rather have a drink or 2 than ride back Sunday evening, let me know - we'll find floor/tent space!

White chocolate ice cream, you say... Yummy! Will bring my own ladle spoon.

The Duchess passed her MOT today with flying colours and she's quite looking forward to a nice outing, well, as nice as the A3/M3 combo can be...

I did wonder whether the Duchess was going to be in a co-operative mood or whether we'd be seeing you on your Vespa again. Ice cream machine is churning away as we speak.

WHAT? You have to be there! I was accused of defecting last weekend and I've got a stick of rock for you from Herne Bay!

The 'Little' Monster passed it's MOT today (thanks Rally for checking it over and to Stafford for doing the belts etc), and is now taxed and MOT'd for another 12 months.

I even had to go out in the rain to the MOT station! I think I objected more than the bike - bless!! I've even cleaned it again! The 'babe' is looking good!

Excuse me Liz; Checking it over. And cleaning it like it has never been done before! I think you blew a bit of dust from the 10 miles you did today away, where as I cleaned the last 3 years of oil and grime away !!!:eyepopping:

BBC forecast for this afternoon is for sunny intervals and 16 or 17 degrees - perfect! (Not so hot that anyone in bike leathers will melt on the ride over or when they get here).

As usual, my TomTom refused to fire up, so I had to fire up the PC to find some directions, so expect me around 9pm, as I'll no doubt get lost several times.... :banghead:

Thanks "Mrs C" and Andy for a lovely afternoon and BBQ. The food was fantastic as was the company. The weather was great and stayed fine all the way home as well. I look forward to catching up again the next time, maybe in 2 weeks time.

Thanks Eleanor and Andy
We too had a great time and we are so glad we turned up. Great hosts and great company. I enjoyed the banter and the food. The homeade ice cream was delicious btw.

I decided to leave the women alone in the hot tub as you all seemed to be having fun even though I brought me shorts. Caroline enjoyed it and reckons scrapps has to get one too as our gardens too small.

Seemed weird being followed by my bike on the way home. I wished you had gone past me Martin.

:biggrin::biggrin:

Thanks guys for a nice afternoon

Glad you all enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did.

I did wonder whether a Scooby or a hot tub would be next on Caroline's shopping list.

Here are a few photos (thanks Gutsy for picking up Andy's camera and using it).

Rally took one look at the state of our lawn and decided something must be done - sadly, having brought the Monster and not a ride-on lawnmower, it had to be done by hand! http://www.cawte.nildram.co.uk/Monster_BBQ_2010/IMG_1266.JPG

Roz & I arranged to meet everyone else at Andover, as I pulled up at the meet, Roz noticed my number plate hanging on by one bolt, so out with the tools to rob a nut from elsewhere on the bike to secure it.
Liz had ripped her number plate right off on the ride down, weird eh?

Many thanks to Mrs C & Andy who were great hosts, Roz & I had a lovely day with plenty of good food with great company, thanks all.

Thanks for a lovely time, Eleanor & Andy and the rest. That ice cream was just fab! No idea how I ended up with Martin's portion, too...

I wonder if I could fit a hot tub onto my balcony...

Found my way home onto the A331/A3 very easily and a nice ride home it was, too, much better than the M3/M25 route.

I'm still not hungry, btw!

Thanks to Eleanor and Andy for a great BBQ and to all the wilt/hamp crew for letting me join you on the Multi.(I did park in the naughty corner)
Had a great day and it was a perfect way to test the multistroodle.
