Today in the auto jumble bit I picked up an oxford expandable tail pack for my son for £10, Mel bought the same off ebay for £28 a couple of months ago. They also had the matching expandable pannier bags for £10 each. We fitted the tailpack straight onto Sam's bike, a great fit and it had all the waterproof covers, spare bungee straps and shoulder straps. There was also one piece oversuits some at £5 other at £10. Though probably not for serious touring in all weathers.
Worth a trip over and we came back with the tailpack fully expanded and full!

A bargain shop at all times with a good coffee shop as well. It is the local trip every time the bike comes out!

I agree, we don't go over very often but usually buy when we do.
Today we also bought some lighter weight jackets with mesh inserts, perhaps a little optimistic considering my thermal liner did not come out of my winter jacket at all last summer!!!
