Hants Breakfast meet next Sunday, i know we've missed a few recently due to other events, so meet at Stockbridge at 10.00 at the White Hart Pub, then a steady ride down to Mudeford Quay (where there is a very nice fresh sea food shop) have breakfast in the cafe there next to the sea, maybe a little loop through Lymington back to the New Forest and then back up to Andover.

See you all there :)

I am poping over your way the next weekend to collect my latest addition to a ever growing pile of bikes. I will be looking to stop off for a cuppa before heading back to kent so maybe if your out and about I will see some of you guys and girls.

Nowt wrong with 3 bikes. I think I will be ending up with 3 soon, I have some regrets selling the 748. Maybe a 916 this time or a hyper. Nothing sensible like a Multi.

Im working the bank holiday weekend other than the Monday. Carolines running the Run for Life with my daughters on the Sunday so we wont be able to make the BBQ

So have you bought that black and white old-style multistrada, then Scrapps?

I've just placed a large meat order for delivery next Friday, so I'm sure we can spare a sausage or 2 if you need to refuel on the way back from Bristol.

Hi Rally, at midday we will probably be leaving Mudeford and on our way through the forest somewhere, might even stop at the lake and have an ice cream....

MrsC_772
22-05-2010, 07:30 PM
Ice cream stop (whether Mudeford Quay or elsewhere) would defintely be welcome given the forecast for tomorrow.

I'll need to be back in Farnborough at about 4.30 as have invited my sister round for a barbecue (being a London flat-dweller she's deprived of such pleasures at home).

Don't think Andy will be coming for tomorrow's ride out - he doesn't fancy a high mileage day (and it means he can get the fire on in time for dinner to be ready when I get back!)

Hi all

good to meet up today, especially good to see some new faces.

Thanks for the comments on my bike. With the oil light problem decded to stop and swap to car for work.

Shame I had to dash off.

Hope to see you all soon

Glad you had a great day guys. Seems to me you did not miss your Hampster in kent. Well all I can say is she missed you lot. Never stopped talking about you all saying she wanted to go back home.

We all got roasted today and had a good bbq birthday.

Really good to see everyone turning up today, really enjoyed the ride, shame the traffic was busy, but at least the ice creams were cold, i know one of our Hampsters was missing, but shes been spotted in Kent, and will be back soon..... :mand:

Meet at Stockbridge:

Mrs C, chris, gutsy, Mr Freemarket (first timer), Rich, Tcar (all the way from Crawley!), Grant, Barbican (brief hello and then was off again), Bammers, uksurfer

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d125/Uksurfer/Hampshire%20Meets/DSC00689.jpg

Then a ride down to Mudeford for some food and drink!

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d125/Uksurfer/Hampshire%20Meets/DSC00690.jpg

Then we lined up all the bikes for some photos!

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d125/Uksurfer/Hampshire%20Meets/DSC00694.jpg

then we saw this person, he was on the naughty bike at The Mill, and he arrived on a yellow single sided monster....
(sneaky pic, not giving too much away here!)

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d125/Uksurfer/Hampshire%20Meets/DSC00693.jpg

Then a little ride up through the forest, stopping at Hatchett Pond for an ice cream, then off to the services, said our good byes and home!
Hope you all got home safe, and hope to see you all soon :spin:

Another good day out with the Hampsters.

Good to see a few new faces.

Thanks to Martin for route planning and organising (and ensuring we got an ice cream stop).

Was very glad of the sea breeze down at Mudeford.

Here's hoping the weather will be the same next Sunday for my barbecue.

Mr Free Market
23-05-2010, 09:39 PM
Just adding to the comments above … an absolutely top day & thank you to everyone for having this Wandering Wiltshireman along. Eight monsters certainly raised the general tone at Mudeford Quay

The only downside to the day was once I got home, the hour & a half spent scraping dead flies off bike / leathers / helmet

P.S. & yes Liz, you really did miss out! :chuckle:
