Rear wheel 696

Hi everyone, I am just new to Ducati and have just bought a 2008 696 Monster however there is a very flat spot on the rear tyre which means I will need to get a new one. As all of my riding has been on larger sports bikes I have quite a lot of good 180 rear tyres, question is does anyone know if you can fit the larger wheel from a 796 or any other model to the 696 without too much work. Also can you get a rear pillinn grab handle.

They make a wider rear wheel which goes straight in and takes a 180 rear tyre,but people that have done it say the steering is much slower and thats why the factory choose a 160 not a 180

The only way to get a decent rear grab handle is to fit some ventura L brackets and the seperate grab handle. Look on the ventura web site for part numbers if you are interested.
