can anyone please tell me what colour wire is for what? ive removed my standard headlight and replaced with a pair of lights built into a nose cone, one light above other.
im going to change bulbs to either H4's or H7's.
standard wiring colours are black (earth) yellow (?) and yellow with black stripe (?) and white (?)
wanting to know what colour is for main beam, and what is high beam.

its hard to work out at min because bulbs that came with light are twin fillament bulbs so no matter what way you wire them theres always one fillament lighting up on each bulb. hence going to change to H4 or H7

On 2002 620
Black is earth, White is Low-beam and Yellow/Black is High-beam,
yours looks like a late 600, since you have the same colours, there's a reasonable chance it's the same.

Haynes gives the following:

M600 1991-2001
High beam yellow/black, Low beam white and Sidelight yellow, with black as common earth
