OK folks, with a bit of juggling, I have finally arrived at the 'definitive' itinerary (subject to change of course) for this year's Weekender!

Don't worry, for those of you new to the shenanigans, it's a pretty relaxed affair, however, this is what you can expect:

MONSTER WEEKENDER 2010 - Itinerary

Friday 30th April

4pm Arrive at Arrow Mill (rooms ready from 4pm).

8pm Dinner (buffet style).

Saturday 1st May

8am Breakfast.

9am - onwards Assemble in car-park for various ride-outs, including AlanC's Bentley Museum visit and Slob's magical mystery tour. See your ride leader for final times/details.

12-12.30pm Lunch at the Fusion Brassiere (for those not going to the museum).

1.30pm - onwards leave Fusion for afternoon rides.

8pm Gala Dinner (3 course menu) to include the 'Monster Quiz' - hosted by Slob and Thuli.

Sunday 2nd May

8am Breakfast.

10am Bike competition voting begins (saddos can start polishing their bikes from sunrise onwards of course).

Throughout the day the 'photobooth' will be open for your chance to have your bike photographed as a momento and for potential inclusion in next year's calendar. Note that depending on the weather forecast, this may also be done on the Saturday too.

Other 'attractions' TBC

12pm (Midday) Voting closes.

12.45pm Assemble in car park for National Rideout (full fuel tanks please).

1pm National Rideout (this will be a short ride loop, on easy roads, returning to the Mill).

2.30pm - onwards Hog Roast at Arrow Mill.

3.30pm approx (directly after meal) - Forum awards and bike competition prizes/trophies.

4pm - onwards drinking to oblivion... bar-meals available in the evening (to be paid for) if required.

Monday 4th May

8am Breakfast.

10am vacate rooms and depart.

Rules and considerations:

• First rule of Fight Club, there are no rules!

• Please note all meals are available for non-residents of the Mill - please see dedicated thread for more info/prices.

• Please ensure you have a full tank of fuel prior to departing on the Saturday and Sunday rideouts.

• Please ensure your bike is fully roadworthy (if you intend to ride it on the road), you are insured, and try not to do anything that will p!ss anybody off - particularly the owners of the Arrow Mill hotel who very generously allow us the freedom in indulge to excess each year!

• Please note, the Weekender is an adult-orientated event (only with less pole dancing)... as such it is not an environment for children, particularly in the evenings in the bar and restaurant. However, day visitors on the Sunday for the Bike Competition and National Rideout/Hog Roast are more than welcome to bring their families along... just be mindful there may be swearing, jeering and general ridicule if you stay for the Forum awards and bike prizes.

er, that's it!

Does "Gala Dinner" mean that we need to dress up smartly or does it merely indicate more sophisticated cuisine than burger & chips?

Absolutely! Hopefully it won't be as bad as 2007 (I think) when I left the bike on the trailer most of the weekend. Now, I've got a covered trailer,:gay: so even more reason to leave it where it is if the weather is less than perfect.

I may even end up going in the car to the Aston Martin museum if it's wet on Saturday. I can take four more people.

Form an orderly queue please.:ukm:

Hopefully, you couldn't decide!!!

I have ditched the tent and sleeping bag in favour of a cocktail dress and some glittery shoes!

Excellent choice! Hoping I can fit both in my tail pack!!

I will be wearing all my clothes if it's cold on the way up - tail pack - redundant!!!! (Apart from the cocktail dress and glittery shoes!).

Will there be a ride-out on Saturday that doesn't involve a large lunch?

I'm sure I'd read rumours that the Arrow Mill breakfasts are huge, and if I'm fuelled up with bacon and eggs I won't want lunch, especially if it's big dinner night.

How about an afternoon tea and cake run? Shake up the twee little Cotswolds towns used to coach parties of pensioners?

You know they don't force you to eat right?? :)

Rumours are no good. Breakfast is what you want. Just toast or just cereals or just poached egg or scrambled or you can have full english cereals and toast if YOU WANT.

Theres no YOU MUST you just please yourself and nobody gives a hoot. Its great and the foods good. I always eat too much brekkie :eyepopping::eyepopping:

Might not force me to eat, but can't believe I'd be awfully welcome at Fusion Brasserie if I just sat there nibbling grissini for 2 hours!

Plus the cheapskate in me thinks it's daft paying an all-in price that includes a good breakfast, not eating it, and then going out to buy a big lunch. Would rather save the money for beer and petrol.

Dont worry you can sit in the garden and no ones worried if you eat. This is the UKMOC and you can just get a drink. No one will kick you out. Your worrying too much my dear :on::on::on::D:D
