Are there any issues with taking advantage of some good second hand prices on exhausts from another bike. Im after a full arrow race system, which will be over a grand including header,mid pipes and silencers.

Looking around tho, there is a considerable saving to be made.

For example if i were to buy each of the 3 parts from 3 different bikes, which all together form the 'full system' would there be issues as each part has been running to a different system to mine ?

Is it best to just buy new ?

As long as they link together there should be no problems, however most exhaust makers will/may use different lengths of header, link pipe set up to prevent this.

ECU/chip set up will probably have to be sorted using a complete system!!!
