What oil for my 695?

Hi all

What oil do I need to buy to be able to top up my 695? The last service it had was at ducati so I presume they'd have used a manufacturers spec oil?

10 40w high quality stuff. i use rock oil.. or shell.... but thats preference...

Cheers, is there any particular type of 10 40w Shell I should use?

Full synthetic oil

haynes manual says sr or something.. but to be honest go to a bike shop and pick up any 10 40 they have in there.. if you have a wet clutch (one that sits in oil) use semi synthetic.. as the fully synth stuff can sometimes cause clutch slip.
