crankcase to barrel gasket

what sealant (if any) you people recommend for it? I've just rebuilt the top end but I've got a little oil leak on back of the vertical cylinder, so I've ordered a new gasket but I'm not sure I should use any sealant this time around.

We use Ducati 3 bond at work mate, and I do the same at home (have done before I worked for them).
Will pop out to garage later & see what the number is on the most recent tube but it is grey.
