Hellooo peeps
Quick question as the manual doesn't tell me.
Does anyone know what the torque settings are for the cambelt tensioner bolts, i have read and reread the Haynes manual and they're definitely not there :-)
Ta very much

I haven't got my Haynes here, but top of my head are described as "cambelt (something) gear" and are 42 Nm, (but don't take my word on the torque)

Poppet,

Are you on about the roller fixing (pivot) bolts, or the quadrant adjuster locking bolts? IIRC the bolts are only an 8mm thread, and may shear if tightened to a setting of 42Nm.

This guy set his to 25Nm - http://www.ducatisuite.com/beltchange.html

Which seems to be backed up by this - http://www.ducatiwiki.net/index.php?title=Torque_Specifications_And_Fastener s

I'm using 25Nm, none have come apart or shifted.
