are you trying to upload a picture to the forum or trying to link to a picture you've posted somewhere else on the web?

to link to a picture somewhere else, hit the insert image button (not available in some forums)
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/attachment.php?attachmentid=13797&stc=1&d=1268261356

and paste in the location of your image
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/attachment.php?attachmentid=13796&stc=1&d=1268261251

or hit the 'Go advanced' button and scoll down to find the 'Manage Attachments' button
http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/attachment.php?attachmentid=13798&stc=1&d=1268261620
although the site has limits that mean you can't upload high-res pictures.

If i can't be arsed to use Photobucket, then i just load the pic straight from my pics folder on my computer.
The problem with that, is the pic is re-sized and you can't zoom in on it, on this forum.
On another social forum i use, i can upload the same pic from my computer and it keeps it's original size, plus you can zoom in, so i assume it a bandwidth thing on here?

I use photo bucket a lot although feels long winded.
Fb you can chuck pretty much anything on and it takes it ..
It's when you get people post a pic the size of auntie dorris's house it's a mare on a thread.
Dump photos on photobucket then copy and paste the image code in your reply is the easiest way.
This forum manages stuff really well I'm impressed!
Some you just loose the will to live with.

Plus another thing on this forum that winds me up, why is it when you click on the first post (when logged in) it takes you to the last post and vise-verse?, not come across it on other forums.

Sorry George, not with you there, could be something in your profile settings rather than the forum itself. The fact you say 'when logged in' suggests this too.

ps your avatar is going the wrong way

Aaarrghh, ....tempted again.
I don't normally do clocks...not on bikes....not much at all if I can help it.
But I find myself really rather liking that one.
And I DO frequently find myself wondering if I'm going to get there for the first race/ make the ferry/
arrive before the band strikes up etc.
Battery powered/no wires presumably ?
Where might I acquire such an item, then ?

Might be tricky to aquire, i made this one , it,s the only one on the planet. I made it for a 620 sie, then sold the bike and gone back to an M600 carb model 2001, only to find that the mounting holes are not the same, so the fancy bar clamp is now a paper wieght. No wires, battery operated.http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp257/dookbob/Image037.jpg
