Following on from a good suggestion the first NW members meet will be combined with the annual Wirral Easter Egg run...

I'm not familiar with it, but the following website pretty much sums it up:
http://www.wirraleggrun.co.uk/wirral-egg-run/faq/what-is-the-wirral-egg-run/

Seems like a good day and a good cause...

So... anyone who knows the area can suggest a good meeting point for us to ride in together? I think most people will be coming in along the M56....?

Seems like a cracking day out, with a good cause too. If I can, I'll be there!
Think riding in together would be a good crack too!:spin:

The last time I went on this was about 4 years ago in fact it might of been 5 and the old bill were the biggest "pains in the arse" possible with random stops, redirections and process forms all over the place can we assume they have now returned to their more civil attitude about this event or is it still high on their annual monthly cash bonus bonanza list?

I know if I did it and traveled alone to this I would make sure my bike had totally and above legal tires, lights, number plate, exhaust and that probably I had a bright fluorescent bib on till I got there!!!!!!! Plus any stuffed toy riding on the back would have a crash helmet on too!

Was a great day out before that though.

Meeting at the little chef on the A41

WOW.......thats just behind my house!!!

Been on most of these since the early eighties when there were only about 50 bikes!

Wont be able to do it this year as I have several breaks to both legs.

If I get up early enough to beat the crowd I could park my Corvette in the Little Chef and hobble around on crutches to say hello.

I might even go on the neighbours motorbility scooter!

If you have not gone the Egg Run before, you will be gob smacked.

TOP TIP........If you use bar end mirrors like I do, take them off.

Mike

Great ride... Just as impressive as the Wootton Bassett ride!! Many more people lining the streets. Met up with some friendly DOC people, but soon got split up, even lost the Desmo.

Great day, great weather...

Sorry to hear that Geoff... if it's any conciliation there were a fair number of breakdowns throughout the ride out, so at least you broke down beforehand!

Great day out and it seemed to run a little better than last years...Plenty of monsters and other Ducati's too. Did you see the Desmo in the bayliss type colours???

Plenty of youtube footage out there too, managed to spot me twice already!:spin:

Edit : Couldn't see the pics earlier....... whoops.... ;-)
