Hi Guys,
I just found out from the producer it wouldn't fit my S2R 800. Long story. Any way, Quat D also confirmed it's for S2R 1000 after sending them pics. It had two owners before. It has been scratched in three places, box doesn't have any holes though and it's in full working order. Springs and screws are missing but it shouldn't be a problem. I bought it for £200. New system costs about £800. If interested, please sent your offer on prive. Pick up only. London, Battersea. Thanks

Now where were you when i paid £900 for mine this time last year?
The one you are selling is a bargain mate.

I know and it's a shame it wouldn't fit mine. I'll have to go for a new one too.

If your set on under engine Exhausts You can get some bespoke exhausts made up from £250-£400. I can drop you a link of a few manufactures if your interested?

That would be great Martin. I didn't know there is any other, cheaper(!) option. Thought that's the only one you can get, maybe except Termis, but they're doing underbellies for S4R only as far as I know. Thanks a lot :)

Hi QBA, why wont it fit the 800? I thought the only difference was the pipe diameter, and if thats the case a reducer should be easy peasy???

One guy was trying to fit it for me. Headers needs to be shortened and diameter adjust... While I still have it, I might go for that.

That would be the cheapest option I suppose.

Qba what is the size of headers as that would look so cool on my monster 900

Luka, save your cash if its for a 1000ds it won't fit your old 900 header pipes will be at the wrong angle.

Hi, I saw this exact one last year, just before you bought it, What was the issue with the fiment? Surely if it was just a pipe diameter thing a shim or sleeve or reducer of some such sort would be able to make it fit?
Like you I've got the 800, and probly like you I'm desperately trying to release the noise!
Cheers.

Paul, diameter is apparently the same, so it would be only a matter of cutting one of the headers. Going to rosso corse in few days, maybe they'll be able to sort it out. Not sure about the sound, it seems to be quite dry, mind you I heard it only on youtube, but for me the look of it would fully compensate it.
Krankitover sorry, I didn't notice your post.

Hi QBA, did you manage to sort the fitting of the quat-d?

Yeap, just yesterday in rosso corse. It gave them a bit of hassle but eventually they've done a great job. It's brilliant :)

Damn that looks good!
You'll have to give a report on the difference it makes, performance, noise etc.
But your right, it's well worth it for the looks alone!
Cheers.
PS you going to the Bristol Italian moto thing on saturday?

Cheers Paul. I took it for a spin yesterday with guys from the forum to Box Hill and Beachy Head. I can tell you now that it works much smoother on a lower gears, on a higher maybe slightly underpowered, but it doesn't bother me. Sound is sweet. I'm ready to take first complaints from the neighbours - no baffles.
Can't do Bristol, have to work :(

Thanks guys :) I know it would look much better with chopped tail, but having a wet back doesn't sound encouraging. Was thinking about carbon tail as a compromise.
