As i am going to be yet another year older in may i am going to have a little BBQ. nothing fancy (as i am a crap cook) but good old fashioned burgers and sausages ect.
So if you fancy popping in for a burnt burger ect please pm me for the address and to give me some idea of numbers (so not eating burgers for the next 6 weeks).
Plenty of off road parking and only 10mins to the sea (walking) if you fancy getting a ice cream or going for a quick dip.

Burgers are free mate. sorry no heart shape toast but I do have a thingy so the bread has good morning on it when toasted.(not sure why)

Would be nice to have "GOOD MORNING" great ride to work this morning, snowing in Hatfield when i got there and had bit of a moment behind a bus :banghead:

brrrr rather you than me mate. Had to collect my bike from Steve Saturday and was cold for the rest of the day.
Still bike all services and ready for the sunny days ahead

Right who's coming along. I will get you there if you all tell me who's coming with me. Im intending to treat it like a sunday meet and set off from my house around 9-30 10-00. If you want brekkie first we can meet at Nell's and then a casual run down. We are also close to the beach if you need ice creams.

So do I and when you get there Albie, you are in serious trouble with me! Dropping me in it with the Hampshire lot cos I can't go on their brekkie meet that day, they think I've defected!

Hi peeps I have just got back from the wilds of North Carolina and looking forward to having some of you over for a BBq.
Your all welcome from any area (its not just a Kent members event) I have plenty of off road parking and its only a short walk to the beach and ice creams.:woot:

Been to town and got plenty of food I even had a quick tidy up of the garden.
Thanks Albie for helping with sorting a ride in for any interested I look forward to seeing you all sunday.

P.S their is birthday cake yumm yumm and we could always take a walkdown to the sea front for ice cream if it gets to hot in the garden...:booze:

Just got back from swapping parts on the bike and while I didn't ride today I seem fixed enough to ride tomorrow. Where do you want to meet Albie?

We can hack it down the motorway until faversham then stop there for a coffee or tea. Then bimble down through either whitstable or via canterbury.

Happy Birthday Rick. Thanks for a great day and great company. It started off for me meeting Big Oz and riding down via Faversham and stopping for a coffee and scone before setting off to Scrapps.

We got there around 12.30 and rest turned up not long after
Great turnout from Kent and our honery Hampster Liz.
I got involved in the cooking and then scrapps for some reason wanted to take over making me redundant. Strange that you didnt actually want to cook last week :mand::mand:

A horrible traffic ridden ride home in the heat and was glad to get back. In hindsight we should have stayed later.

Thanks to everybody who came and to all who sent birthday wishes.
I had a great day and enjoyed our mass walk to the beach for ice cream. A big thanks to Albie who DID do most of the cooking on the BBQ and To Heather for sorting the rest of the food.
(Not sure about the photo of me trying to look like I did the cooking)

LOL! I've only just read this!!! :chuckle: Yes, I'm back with the Hampsters (I am only an honorary Kent member) although have I have also been to Sussex last weekend on the Brighton run! So, rather than being 'multi-cultural', does that make me 'multi-countryal'???
