Just ordered myself a shiny new BMW R1200GS to replace my 5 year old 45,000 mile one - the fast red one!

Well it is an air coooooooled twin - so thought it would be safe to post the good news here :D

My mate has a 2005 R1200GS, he's well impressed with it and has just bought an adventurer, the one with wire wheels.
You should see him blatting around the isle of man :eyepopping:!!

Bloody lovely - best bike I have ever had, just can't stop riding it, thought I'd better chop it in for a new one before I put too many miles on it.

They look big and scary along side a Monster, but they are a doddle to ride.

Good choice... I have a red one sits next to my red S2R...and they do look odd side by side...

Mine is just a baby GS, (650 twin) but it is red and sits well with the Hypermotard and hubby's 1200 GS.:mand:
