Hi Monster owners....

Details for this years big V-twin festival have now been finalised. We had fantastic support from the Ducati clubs in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and hope for the same this year.

UKBEG Emma Radford Buell & European V-twin Festival - Saturday 17th July 2010.

Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre
East Kirkby, near Spilsby
Lincolnshire
PE23 4DE
Web site: www.lincsaviation.co.uk

UK Buell Enthusiasts Group web site: www.ukbeg.com

This will be our 7th event at this location dedicated to the memory of one of our members, Emma Jane Radford, who passed away 22-04-04, aged just 26. We'll also be raising money for the Papworth Hospital Cystic Fibrosis unit which looked after Emma. Last year we raised over £1000.00.

In addition to approx. 100 Buells, there'll be Italian bikes from Aprilia, Cagiva, Ducati, Morini and Moto Guzzi. British bikes will include Brough Superior, Hesketh and Vincent.

The event will include a Lancaster bomber taxi-run. If you like Rolls Royce V12 Merlin engines at full chat and red-blooded V-twin motorcycles, you'll really appreciate this event!

Edit 16-06-10
Confirmed timetable:

10.30 am Start time
1.00 pm Avro Lancaster bomber taxi-run
3.00 pm Avro Lancaster bomber taxi-run
3.45 pm RAF Spitfire flypast

The admission charge is £6.00 per person – but girls on bikes get in free.

Note: if you're arriving in a group of two or more bikes would you please collect your entrance money together and hand it to a nominated person within your group before you arrive. This would help to speed up your entrance to the event and help us on the gate. Thank you!

The Aviation Centre has full catering facilities.

Hi Dave - it'd be good to see you again. We'll do what we can with the weather :mand:...

BTW UKBEG raised over £9,000 last year for Emma's charity.

That's incredible.

If you have never been to this event then go, it's brilliant. If you have been, you know that and you'll be back!

We can now confirm that the RAF will provide a Spitfire flypast at this event.

The Spitfire is part of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF).

I won't be able to make it this year but if you can, then you should. It is a truly wonderful day out, even if you have to ditch the bike and take the family in the car!

The ambience is brilliant, the whole thing is fantastic, it's quite an emotional experience to hear the Lancaster start up and you will be raising money for a very worthy cause and having a great time with your mates!

Do go and then post up piccies after and tell us all what a good time you had.

Hoping to make it this year (weather dependant as always) but perhaps not on the Monster. Anyone else going?
